Enterprise Telecom Solutions ("ETS", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website enterprisetelecomsolutions.com. We are a telecom advisory and solutions company based in Mumbai, India, serving enterprise and SMB customers.

We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we collect and use it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. What Data We Collect

Data You Provide Directly

  • Contact form: Full name, organisation name, location (city/state), email address, phone number, and your enquiry message.
  • Account registration: Email address, name (used for login and personalisation).
  • Chatbot interactions: Messages you send to our AI assistant. Logged-in users' chat histories are stored against their account.

Data Collected Automatically

  • IP Address (hashed): We do not store raw IP addresses. Your IP is immediately hashed (SHA-256 with a cryptographic salt) before storage, making it non-reversible.
  • Session data: A unique session ID stored in a browser cookie to track your visit within a single session.
  • Clickstream events: Pages visited, buttons clicked, and downloads — logged server-side for analytics. This is done asynchronously and does not affect page load speed.
  • Device & browser information: Browser type, operating system, and approximate geographic region (derived from hashed IP).

4. Lawful Basis for Processing

  • Performance of Contract / Pre-contractual Steps: Processing your contact form submission to provide you with the telecom solutions you enquired about.
  • Consent: Sending marketing emails; displaying personalised advertisements via Google AdSense; storing non-essential cookies.
  • Legitimate Interests: Website analytics (to improve the site); security monitoring; fraud prevention.
  • Legal Obligation: Retaining records where required by Indian tax or business laws.

7. Data Retention

  • Active user accounts: Retained until you request deletion.
  • Inactive accounts: Accounts with no login for 2 years will be automatically anonymised.
  • Clickstream events: Summarised/archived after 90 days. Raw logs deleted after 180 days.
  • Chat history: Retained for 12 months from last activity, then deleted.
  • Contact submissions: Retained for 3 years for business continuity, then deleted.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU Residents)

  • Right of Access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") — delete your account and all associated data
  • Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent for advertising cookies or marketing at any time

Under India's DPDP Act (Indian Residents)

  • Right to access information about personal data processing
  • Right to correction and erasure of personal data
  • Right to grievance redressal (see Section 9)
  • Right to nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf
